Big D Management is an Artist Development, Management company created by Owner, Jared Darter. He began his career in radio in the Spring of 2003 when he landed a promotions job with a local radio station in Fort Worth, TX called 95.9 The Ranch.

Darter, had the opportunity to work at a few other places while attending college. Darter attended a few years at a local community college, Weatherford College, before transferring to the University of North Texas where he attained his B.A. in Radio, Television and Film. During his stint at Weatherford College he had the opportunity to hold a summer internship and work with the legendary, Bob Kingsley on the "Country Top 40". Darter had worked on building his relationships and meeting anyone and everyone he could while learning about the business. Till this day, that theory still holds true. He's traveled all over the U.S. with his artists' helping them achieve their dreams.

Big D Management began in it's infancy in the Fall of 2008. Big D Management's first client was "The Clay Wilson Band". The Clay Wilson Band played all over the states providing entertainment for the Republican National Convention in California and playing for the Governor of Wyoming.Their video for "Hay's County Nights" has reached over 2.3 million views. (WATCH HERE)  After ending it's stint with the Clay Wilson Band; Big D Management had the pleasure of working with Jordan Walker before he was a part of his now outfit, Walker McGuire.


Big D Management is currently representing Tyler and the Tribe & Colton Rice.
